Lachlan Holland

Lachlan Holland has been championing the sounds of quality electronic music in Wollongong for over a decade. His radio show "Excursions" on i98fm recently hit the 300 weekly episodes milestone, through which has has quietly been pushing club sounds from around the world, quirky beats and futuristic soul since 2007. He has been putting on deep house parties since 2002, a time when dance music was barely accepted in his hometown (let alone the deeper variety).

After and enlightening jaunt living in San Francisco in 2008-09 he turned to production via his alias, Hober Mallow, and has had several releases via YesYes Records, Big Village and TRL. He has also been behind a series of well-recieved edits and reworks of classic house and disco music, finding favor with fans and enthusiasts in many places. Since relocating to Sydney in 2010, he has held down a number of regular spots around the city, as well as maintaining several weekly residencies in Wollongong.

Working as a full time club DJ over ten years, his sets and tastes have always remained eclectic and guided by the needs of the dancefloor. However, the rich club sounds of both Chicago and Detroit, as well as the feeling of classic disco are the central line that guides his sound, both in the club and in the studio. He has hosted and supported an extensive cross-section of the best DJ's both from Australia, and from around the world.
